steven ferraro
Chef Steven is a graduate of Hudson County Community College, Culinary Art Institute. He spent 28 years with Marriott International starting as a Pastry cook and moving up in skills and experience. He was a Pastry Chef, an Executive Pastry Chef working locally and internationally. Eventually Steven was promoted to the position of Executive Chef and then Director of Food and Beverage. He participated in the Culinary Olympics in 2004, and was blessed to have served President Ronald Regan and President Gerald Ford (just to name a few) during his tenure at the J.W. Marriott Century City.
As Steven starts a new a life chapter, he and Sandra have seen first hand that many seniors would benefit from meals that are quick , flavorful and have a high nutritional value. Silver Roots is excited to develop a channel here on our website where Steven will be able to share recipes and simple culinary skills for seniors to follow, as well as, kitchen gadgets to make cooking easier.
